The Middle East is a wondrous place to visit with its warm waters, beautiful mountain ranges, and untouched beauty. With some of the oldest history in the world, the Middle East is a great place to visit. However, over the last couple of decades, the political unrest and terrorism in the region have made finding a safe place to explore in the Middle East like searching for a needle in a haystack. There are, however, several places you can head to without compromising your safety.
Cyprus – more than two million visitors a year flock to this sun-drenched island. With spectacular coastlines and quality mountain hikes, as well as the ruins of medieval castles, Cyprus is a great place to escape for some relaxation.
Qatar – the host city of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar is becoming noticed as a great vacation destination in the Middle East. After spending a day kite-surfing, you can head to the camel racetracks to enjoy the traditional sport of camel racing.
Jordan – Even with its proximity to Syria and Iraq, Jordan is the safest places in the Middle East to visit. While there you should visit Petra, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, take the morning to float in the Dead Sea, or dive into the waters of Aqaba.
